The Fiery Furnace, Arches National Park

Yesterday we got permits to enter the Fiery Furnace. The permit process entails watching a 20 minute video about Leave No Trace, and a quiz at the end. It’s a very heavily protected area in a park that gets a lot of traffic. Luckily not many people are allowed in the furnace area on a day to day basis so the impact is kept to a minimum.
